This position will cover several small contracts between Dubuque and Maquoketa providing day-to-day water/wastewater duties for the cities of Andrew, Hickory Acres Homeowners Association in Dubuque, Zwingle, LaMotte and Mt. Vernon, IL. Duties will include monitoring and accurately recording gauges, water/wastewater sampling and analysis, flushing hydrants, maintenance, repair and replacement of related machinery/equipment, and submit required regulatory reports.

Requirements:

• Must live between Dubuque and Maquoketa.
• Grade II water/wastewater certification preferred but not required.
• Prior experience repairing/maintaining blowers and pumps.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service to clients.
• Valid driver's license to operate company vehicle with a clean record (no license suspension in the past 5 years)
• Ability to operate a personal computer, iPhone, SCADA, and associated software including Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and on-call based on a rotating schedule.
• Must respond to after-hour emergencies.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision; therefore, must demonstrate initiative and organizational skills, along with problem solving.

Salary dependent on certification and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
