The University of Salford Web Team is growing.
As part of the team, you’ll be playing an important role from the start, using your knowledge and experience to drive improvements. We’re looking for people with skills in SEO, Content Development, Accessibility, UX, PHP... but mostly we’re looking for people with a passion for building great websites that work for our users.
In your role as Web Content Officer, you will work within the web team supporting the marketing, digital and social teams to produce content that enhances the university’s digital presence across web and digital platforms. You will ensure there is consistency in terms of tone of voice, style and branding and regularly monitor digital content to ensure it complies with internal guidelines.
You will work with the web manager and senior marketing manager to ensure the homepage and other key web pages are regularly updated and follow the corporate style making suggestions on best practice from a content management perspective.
