Azure Shores Rehabilitation and Care Center is constantly striving to deliver the greatest level of customer satisfaction. We are seeking dedicated RN Supervisors to assist the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure a high level of patient care for our residents. Requirements:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.
- Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Must possess and maintain a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in this state.
- Must possess and maintain a current “Eligible’ AHCA Background Screening Status
Job Duties:
- Assist the Assistant Director of Nursing in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department, in accordance with current rules, regulation, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
- Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
- Ensure that reference material (i.e., PDR's, Federal and State Regulations, etc.) maintained at the nurses' station is current. Recommend to the Director written material that will assist the nursing department in meeting the day-to-day needs of residents.
- Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current at all times and reflects the day-to-day nursing care procedures used by the facility.
- Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with the procedures set forth in the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
- Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director as necessary/required, concerning the operation of the nursing department.
- Ensure that a sufficient number of licensed practical and/or registered nurses are available for each tour of duty to ensure that quality care is maintained.
- Ensure that a sufficient number of certified nursing assistants are available for each tour of duty to ensure that routine nursing care is provided to meet the daily nursing care needs of each resident.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.00 - $39.00 per hour
