As the Weld Lead, you will serve as a leader in the Weld Department on 3rd shift, providing day-to-day direction to achieve Ventrac objectives. This position ensures the quality production of products in a safe and timely basis to meet production standards while maintaining welding duties.

Hours: 10pm-6:30am Sun-Thurs

Wage: $25+/hr, wage will be determined by experience and qualifications.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with Ventrac, you will be responsible for:

• Drive performance and motivate the weld team
• Ensure weld department production goals and quality standards are met. Workstations include: robot welders, manual welders, maintenance
• Collaborating with the supervisor to delegate and direct general tasks for workers
• Performing quality control inspections for finished goods
• Drives and support continuous improvements; actively looks for opportunities to improve methods, material flow, safety and the work environment
• Utilize the Ventrac Network for routings and schedule

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures
• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience
• Maintain high safety standards and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• 3-5 years weld experience with the ability to read/understand procedures preferred
• 3+ years leadership experience preferred
