Job description
WELDERAutomation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Welders for a company based in Calera, AL. In this job, you will be working outdoors repairing railway cars performing various mechanical tasks as well as welding.
Pay Rate:
Will be based on experience; $19-$20 an hour for starting rate.
$21 an hour for experienced welders
Schedule and Hours:
Shift: Monday -Friday: 6:00am till 4:30pm
Welders Duties and Responsibilities
- Will be welding on railway cars and performing other mechanical tasks on the cars such as but limited to changing wheels, brake shoes, etc.
- Stooping, bending, and twisting repeatedly
- Follow workplace safety standards
- Mechanic experience a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods and lifting 50 lbs.
- Detail oriented
- Ability to pass a weld test and must have own welding helmet
- Will be performing other tasks besides welding
