We’re Recourse Communications and we match top talent with top opportunities. Our client is growing and offers an amazing opportunity to become part of their team of Welders. You will be performing a variety of welding techniques (MIG, TIG) on various materials in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Importantly you will read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements before operating the welding and tools safely and effectively. You will also inspect welds to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. You
will maintain all welding equipment as needed. You will collaborate with other team members to complete projects.
About You
· High school Diploma or Equivalent
· Prior welding experience; general welding and weld symbol experience (will hire right out of high school or tech school)
· Experience and/or certifications in MIG, TIG and/or Flux-core welding
· Ability to weld in all positions, including large, oversized pieces
· Able to strictly adhere to blueprints and documentations
· Able to unload finished parts and stage in appropriate areas using overhead cranes and hoists, lifts, etc.
· Must pass drug screening
· Physical Requirements:
o Constant exposure to a manufacturing setting
o Able to stand for extended periods of time in order to operate machines efficiently
o Able to withstand loud noises, extreme heat, lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
o Must have dexterity to handle various necessary objects
About the Company
The company provides ASME and AWS certified welding, complete metal forming and fabrication, boilers and pressure vessels, oversized capacity machining of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
