Professional Portable X-Ray (PPX) is looking for Workflow Coordinators for the main office in Burnsville, Minnesota. Afternoons into evening shifts available. Professional Portable X-Ray (PPX) is the mobile diagnostic imaging service division of DispatchHealth, the leading provider of in-home medical care in the United States. PPX provides advanced digital imaging services to patients in private residences, senior living communities and a variety of other community care settings throughout the country.

• In real time, monitor the service delivery process, from initial customer orders to completed radiology reports and customer follow-ups.
• Answer customer calls and enter orders for x-rays and other medical imaging services into online system in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Ensure that all available documentation of medical orders gets uploaded into the computer systems in real time.
• Monitor the locations of PPX mobile imaging staff, and dispatch appropriate PPX personnel to perform mobile imaging studies in multiple states.
• Validate completed diagnostic exams and ensure timely transmission of PPX images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Distribute final radiology reports to customers in a timely manner, and make follow-up calls to ensure that the customers have received the results of the studies.
• Communicate with customers staff, nurses, medical providers, patients, and PPX personnel regarding order status, estimated times of arrival, radiology results, and other operational questions as they may arise.
• Coordinate the delivery or electronic sharing of medical images and reports.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Key qualifications include ability to communicate positively and effectively with clients and staff in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, excellent telephone skills, enhanced computer proficiency and data entry accuracy, and a working knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to anatomy and radiography.
