X-ray Technician
Job description

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of experience in a clinical patient setting preferred
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system knowledge helpful
- Valid state license and BMO certification
Preferred:
- Previous experience working as a BMO preferred
Essential Functions
- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Produce quality radiographs to assist in the diagnosis of illnesses or injury
- Educate patients regarding the procedure
- Create and maintain patient electronic medical records (EMR)
- Provide patients with copies of the images upon request
- Ensure images are in the PACS system
- Maintain quantity and quality control checks to assure X-ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies.
- Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining repairs needed to equipment.
- Protect patients and other personnel from radiation hazards
- Maintain radiographic supplies
