PT Summer Camp Position
Northern Star Scouting
Are you looking for a summer job working with youth? Northern Star seeks energetic individual to join their team as a Program Coordinator this summer, June through July 2023 in the Willmar, MN area. This is a part-time, seasonal position and offers a starting hourly pay of $17.00. Your schedule will tentatively be Wednesdays and Fridays, for a total of 15 hours per week. (Extra camp hours may be available.) This is an excellent opportunity to engage and mentor students and gain valuable youth-development experience.
Responsibilities

• Work directly with youth and track their progress in achieving goals
• Foster a positive learning environment
• Develop youth leadership, teamwork, confidence, and skills
• Engage parents and other volunteers to assist with activities
• Work with supervisors and site program coordinators to manage youth
• Be a positive role model to youth of diverse backgrounds by fostering a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Must be age 18 or older
• Education: High school diploma or GED required
• Experience with Scouts or other youth organizations is preferred, not required
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills
• Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid driver's license and be insurable in the state of Minnesota
• Must be able to download the free ADP mobile app for payroll processing, and clock in and out to record all time worked
