Title: Youth Program Coordinator
Description:
Responsible for creating, implementing, and facilitating youth programs for the Town of North Hampton
Parks and Recreation Department. This includes but is not limited to North Hampton Parks and
Recreation Summer Camp and After School Clubhouse, as well as supervising the staff within those programs.
Position is a year-round 30 hours per week average with 40-hour weeks during summer camp and school vacation camp weeks.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assists the Recreation Director with overseeing and implementing the complete operation of the
Summer Camp and After School Clubhouse.
Follows and enforces Town of North Hampton Parks and Recreation program policies and procedures.
Helps to create and facilitate additional youth programs.
Works and communicates daily with staff to provide a safe and fun program experience for both staff and participants.
Assists Recreation Director with evaluation of staff members.
Administers First Aid and CPR when necessary,
Communicates with program participant families including generating written reports if necessary for any accidents, injuries, or behavioral concerns.
Creates staff schedule and approves submitted staff time sheets.
Position Requirements
Experience in Recreation, physical Education, education or working with children.
Certification in 1st Aid/CPR/AED
Driver’s License and successful completion of background and driver screening.
Available to work forty-hour weeks during the summer and after school until 6pm during the school year.
Job Type: Year-round part time
Pay $18-$20 per hour.
