Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (tACP)
Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team and be part of the Rochdale Care Organisation's Community Rapid Response Team whilst studying your fully funded apprenticeship route to gain a MSc in Advanced Practice at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). The overall training programme is 24 month long (MSc), on successful completion the post will progress to 8a grade. The programme has also been accredited by Health Education England.
We are looking to recruit a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner who has clinical experience in community/urgent care and are ready to take the next step in their clinical career.
You will work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, under the supervision of the Acute Medicine Consultant's and Senior Advanced Clinical Practitioners to enhance the patient experience through the delivery of excellent patient-focused care.
You must have proven experience in your clinical specialty and be able to demonstrate the motivation required to take on an ACP role.
The successful candidate will be paid at a Band 7. Upon completion of the MSC in Advanced Practice the successful candidate will progress to a Band 8A Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
