Description: CTE High School Agriculture (12 month position)
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, an agricultural teacher will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program with regards to content specific elements of the agricultural field including, but not limited to, the science or practice of farming, cultivation of food, and use of natural resources in a secondary learning environment that guides, and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic goals by creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students.
Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in agricultural education or in a related area. Holds current licensure through N.C.Department of Public Instruction or ability to obtain license.
