Account Manager

Responsible for supporting the company's sales goals through professional sales techniques and good customer service, maintaining quality relations with existing accounts, and providing sales and marketing coverage

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain quality relations with existing assigned accounts.
  • Develop maximum sales potential out of assigned accounts through competitive sales techniques, knowledge of the company's products and services as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses.
  • Stay abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources.
  • Maintain updated, organized files on all assigned accounts
  • Provide information to and/or follow up on customer requests.
  • Promote and effectively sell company services using established company sales techniques.
  • Clarify and fulfill customer requests/needs by presenting various selections of services providing pricing information as requested.
  • Understand and respond to customer delivery needs by interfacing with internal personnel.
  • Understand and support established sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to customers.
  • Emphasize saleable services of products to include quality and ability to meet customer specifications.
  • Resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a professional office environment.
  • Relay appropriate information to customers to enhance the company's image.
  • Receive and resolve customer complaints and problems within a timely manner.
  • Understand and support sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers

Education and Experience:
Education: Four-year degree or equivalent work experience in a similar environment

Experience: Two to Five years of experience in the sales or customer service field
