Position Summary:
FedData Technology Solutions, LLC is seeking an Account Manager for our National Security Group Customer(s). The Account Manager, National Security Group is a sales and engineering enablement full-time position. The candidate will be responsible for managing & developing key relationships in marquee Federal Accounts based out of Ft. Meade, Maryland, handling very focused key accounts that carry the complete Dell Technologies Portfolio encompassing IT Products, Solutions, Software & Services. Candidate will maintain a detailed understanding and knowledge of IT applications in the defense industrial base. Candidate will drive a solutions delivery lifecycle of collecting requirements from customers, working with Dell and FedData sales, alliances, and engineering resources to develop technology solutions, working with customers to tailor those solutions to their specific needs, assisting with optimizing pricing, and facilitating logistics, delivery, installation, and implementation of solutions.

As an Account Manager, the candidate will be responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring an outstanding customer experience with existing and potential customers.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop an understanding of customers’ business and solution requirements.
  • Gain share of spend across Dell Technologies portfolio of technology solutions: server, storage, networking, software, security and led services.
  • Run territory and or accounts, including account planning, sales forecasting, engaging cross-functional resources and working with the virtual teams to ensure alignment across the organizations.
  • Regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties
  • Provide sales leadership and experience on large, sophisticated opportunities.
  • Work with team members to continuously improve FedData processes and procedures.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI w FSP security clearance
  • Over 10 years of System Administration or Systems Engineering experience, to include certifications in the Dell domain (i.e., Dell, EMC, VMware, Pivotal etc.)
  • Over 10 years of onsite experience supporting a National Security customer.
  • Skilled in negotiation and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with high regard for data accuracy.
  • Available for work outside of normal work hours and occasional overnight travel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Desired/Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Dell Technologies such as Unity and VMWare.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of competing platforms of Dell Technologies.
Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
