Accountant I
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, remote/hybrid

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
- Support the Accounting Supervisor and team in accounting and administrative functions.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of transactions related to Accounts Payable.
- Track discretionary spending (DSAF’s) and capital spending.
- Track Asset management and inventory.
- Invoice matching and entering related to Accounts Payable.
- Provide support and documentation during internal and external audits.
- Learn other accounting processes in the accounting department as deemed necessary by the Accounting Supervisor to help provide support and backup when others are out of the office.
- Maintain document files and Vendor AP files according to established procedures.
- Perform weekly filing.
- Department document control.
- Performs other related duties as directed as this list is not all inclusive.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three to five years of experience in a detail-oriented position is required. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred, however, an appropriate combination of education and work experience may be considered as a substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
- Working knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations and SK Global is preferred but not necessary.
- Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.
- Work as a team and/or independently.
- Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $55,500 to $80,000

WORKING CONDITIONS
Duties are generally performed indoors in an office and high purity manufacturing environment. The noise level in the manufacturing work environment is occasionally loud. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
