This position is responsible for accounting administrative duties and supports the hotel controller when necessary.

Review Invoices for discrepancies and matches invoices with corresponding purchase orders and goods received sheets

• Reconcile Monthly vendor statements

• Use Procurement software, Birchstreet, to ensure three way match prior to making payment.

• Develop working knowledge of chart of accounts.

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Maintain general cashier vault

• Supervise hotel house banks and conduct unexpected audits on cashiers

• Responsible for cash handling for the hotel and maintaining accurate control of hotel’s cash funds

Intermediate word/excel required. One year of accounting experience preferred.
