Position: Accounting Coordinator
Reports To: Vice President
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
D.W. Clark casts components with the centrifugal and static processes using fixed and 3D printed tooling for aerospace, defense, and commercial applications. Cast metals include steels, stainless, nickel, cobalt, and specialty alloys. We are seeking a motivated Accounting Coordinator to support newly implemented systems and company growth.
Responsibilities
● Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis
● Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
● Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and reconciling to the General Ledger
● Schedule weekly check runs; match checks with invoice packets; prepare for signature
● Review and reconcile monthly vendor statements
● Perform account receivable functions including deposits, collections and reconciliations with the General Ledger
● Accurately and timely apply customer deposits to their account in the ERP system and post to the general ledger
● Post payroll, auto and other journal entries to the General Ledger in the ERP system
● Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
● Reconcile General Ledger accounts on a monthly basis
● Review bank transactions daily, record miscellaneous transactions in the General Ledger and reconcile the statements monthly
Additional Responsibilities
● Reception backup as needed – telephone and visitors
● Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
● Attention to detail, accuracy is imperative
● Excellent analytical and organization skills
● Proficient computer skills required – especially with Excel/Sheets
● Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
● Strong interpersonal skills - professional and courteous manner on telephone and in person
● Associate's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
● (2) years accounting or finance experience minimum
