We are looking for an Account Manager to aid our Sales Representatives in a casual office environment. This is an entry level position that includes hands on training with the goal of working towards an Inside Sales Rep role. In this team-oriented atmosphere, the account manager focuses on (but is not limited to) responsibilities such as:
- Developing positive relationships with clients
- Working with the sales representatives to grow existing accounts
- Order data entry via email or phone for all customers
- Detailed thinking tasks such as checking for accuracy in orders and invoices
- Excellent internal/external communication and customer service skills -phone and email
- Supporting the sales force with day-to-day functions to help reach the team’s goals
- Collaborative skills needed to liaise with the Shipping Department to confirm timely deliveries
- Processing and managing returns in a timely manner
- Collecting payments and ensuring accounts don’t fall behind on collections
- Clerical skills to provide and update sales and customer records
- Occasionally guiding customers through stock room to increase sales in person
- Commitment to staying informed regarding new products
The account manager job is for you if you have:
- High organizational skills and ability to manage several projects at the same time
- Ability to prioritize own workload
- Strong communication skills in person, email and on the phone
- Knowledge of basics in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Detail oriented processes
