The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a leading not-for-profit located in Nassau County. CEC assists adults diagnosed with mental illness in reaching the highest level of independence with the freedom to ASPIRE HIGHER in their hopes, dreams and accomplishments.

We have a great opportunity for a positive, motivated individual to work in a multi-disciplinary, mobile outpatient OMH program with a specialty in family dynamics activities and initiatives for ACT recipients.

In this position, you will:

• Work with recipients to develop skills that will support their recovery and attainment of their goals.
• Responsible for integrating family goals and services with the tasks of all team members.
• Work with the recipient’s natural support system with recipient permission.
• Provide family psycho-education individually and in groups with the goal of improving family relationships.
• Include the recipient’s natural supports in treatment and ACT services.
• Conduct family needs assessments.
• Develop family intervention strategies.
• Monitor the quality of family support services to ensure services are of the highest quality.
• Participate in on-call coverage.
• Provide mobile community-based services.

We require:

• Bachelor's degree in Health or Human Services field, Master's degree preferred
• Valid NYS driver's license required with clean driving records. Ability to travel throughout Nassau county.
• At least one year of training and/or experience in health and wellness activities for behavioral health recipients, preferred.

This is a full time, 35 hour a week position, Monday-Friday, day hours.
