Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 4:30pm

Wednesday evening from 4:00pm-7:00pm

If you are looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors, we’d love to talk to you! We are currently seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team in our clinical areas

The Activity Assistant is responsible for the organization and implementation of resident Individualized Service Plans. In doing so, the Assistant will promote participation of the resident in activities of choice and will maintain documentation of attendance. Position will also develop monthly activity calendars and will lead group activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining daily schedules and promoting daily activities.
  • Assists with off-campus activities as needed.
  • Organizes activity area, setting up and cleaning up as needed and monitoring supply level.
  • Assists in reading mail and writing letters as requested or setting up virtual calls with family.
  • Observe and understands the residents’ rights and responsibilities at all times
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all resident related information at all times (HIPAA)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Able to obtain a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Experience working with the geriatric population preferred
  • Ability to work with varying degrees of cognitive and physical impairments of residents
  • Good organization, time management and recording keeping skills
  • Self-directed to accomplish tasks
  • Microsoft office skills are required
  • Clean driving record with valid driver's license.
