Administrative Assistant/Purchasing Clerk

With our continued growth, we are looking to add a Administrative Assistant/Purchasing Clerk position in our Oconto, WI location.
Summary:
The Administrative Assistant/Purchasing Clerk will be responsible to provide support, backup and assistance to the Receptionist and Purchasing department. Other responsibilities will be to assist in administrative functions.
Main Responsibilities:
· Confirm purchase order receipt and PO details to acknowledgements received from vendors
· Expedite, de-expedite, cancel purchase orders
· Maintains files and records of materials, quotes/prices, inventories,vendors and deliveries.
· Receive and issue parts to manufacturing work orders
· Release and help distribute manufacturing work orders
· Enter in excel spreadsheet the No Charge parts accessory orders and debit memos.
· Bulk mailings. Make copies of documents, mailing labels, folding, etc.
· Assist with inventory if needed. Provide administrative support to purchasing, finance team and HR.
· Provide back up for receptionist position.
· Answer Company phone calls and direct calls to appropriate departments.
· Enter and review employee timesheets daily.
· Enter employee absence in the point system program.
· All other assignments assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to take initiative.
· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
· Professionally handle sensitive and confidential information.
· Provide a high level of customer service to all employees.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent education.
· Proficiency in data entry.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Ability to work in a normal office environment to include: sitting or standing for long periods of time, operating various standard office equipment, carrying paper documents/files, reaching and bending, speaking on the telephone, safely walking through our manufacturing plant, and wearing required personal protective gear (i.e. eye and foot protection).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.80 - $19.50 per year
