Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of the Campus Assistance Program and Drug Testing Program, the incumbent will provide administrative and clerical assistance to the Director, Medical Director and staff in the day-to-day operations of the Campus Assistance and Drug Testing services.

Additional Position Information
LSU Health New Orleans Division of Campus Assistance and Drug Testing Program is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Administrative Coordinator 2.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Serve as office receptionist, utilizing telephone services to communicate with the public concerning the different programs provided by the department as well intakes and scheduling of appointments for the department staff
  • Prepare requisitions for the purchase of supplies and purchase orders
  • Record, sort and distribute pertinent information related to The Campus Assistance Program and Drug Testing Program
  • Prepare and maintain academics, medical and administrative correspondence for the Campus Health Department
  • Manage billing of clients associated with Campus Health Professional Aftercare groups
  • Assist the director, medical director and staff in maintaining and developing liaison with various organizations such as hospitals, public health agencies, etc. involved in mental health care to inform and provide information concerning the program’s function, future seminars, workshops and meetings.


Rate of pay is dependent upon applicants’ qualifications. There is also an additional $1 per hour Longevity pay for hours worked only.

College training will substitute for the required experience on the basis of 15 semester hours for six months of experience.

NOTE:
Business or technical school training with less than completion will only be credited in six month increments. Similarly, college training will only be credited in 15 semester hour increments.

NOTE:
Any college hours or degree must be from an accredited college or university.
