Barnes Group Inc. – Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division has an exciting career opportunity for a Receiving Quality Inspector who will play an integral role in our manufacturing process. The right candidate should be self-driven with a safety and quality mind-set. Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete inspection with use of measuring devices, and general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) guides.
  • Perform basic to moderate math while completing inspection.
  • Inform correct departments and supervisors of rejected items and assist with return processes.
  • Complete any necessary paperwork and data entry on completed inspections and necessary returns.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of quality dimensional and spec inspection.
  • 2+ years of experience material processing in a manufacturing facility.
  • Able to understand technical data to perform visual and dimensional inspections.
  • Proficient in the application of GD&T.
  • Strong mathematical and quality inspection abilities.
  • Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient with the use of various computer systems: word, excel, data entry systems, etc.
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude and keep a good attendance record.

Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED Required

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
