Agile Business Analyst
We are looking for a Agile Business Analyst with experience supporting complex enterprise software to join our team in Urbandale, IA. As part of a Agile Team, you will be responsible for collecting, understanding, and documenting business requirements and workflows relating to our software products You will also be responsible for transforming the requirements into well-defined product features and user stories.
Responsibilities

• Work with the Product Owners and Product Managers to break the project roadmaps into project plans with milestones that the team can use to deliver products and features
• Create product workflows for features
• Create epic level tickets to define product roadmap features
• Work closely with Product Managers to organize ideas into actionable product backlogs
• Facilitate concept and feature modeling through prototyping, wireframes, and other test-driven methods
• Explain and visualize product features and business requirements to others
• Connect product features to business outcomes.
• Ability to participate in daily SCRUMs with technical teams
• Requirements Elicitation and Analysis – Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders and facilitates discussions or workshops with the purpose of eliciting and understanding stakeholder needs, requirements, and priorities
• Features and Requirements Traceability – From project vision through product delivery, facilitates and maintains requirements traceability
• User Story / Use Case Creation – Working from the features and needs defined by the project vision, identifies User Stories, Task, and Use Cases that describe the scope of the project
• Distill customer business problems into user stories that are consumable within a sprint by an Agile team via an electronic Agile management tool
• Requirements Verification and Validation – From the baselined requirements create business level user acceptance criteria for each feature
• Drive required Agile development practices, identify improvement opportunities, and help execute changes
• Represent the voice of the customer and communicate customer value found in user stories to the Agile team in a manner that sparks innovative thought
• Conduct customer focus groups and evaluation meetings to ensure that the team is tracking toward desired customer outcomes
• Determine fulfillment of acceptance criteria and offer advice to the Product Owner regarding acceptance of stories
• Assist with product feature demos

Specific Skills:*

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or similar discipline
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst or product owner for complex enterprise software
• Strong organizational and task management skills
• Communication skills, to communicate information effectively and in appropriate forms to customers, managers, and technical staff
• Meeting Facilitation – Identifies appropriate participants and manages meeting planning and logistics
• Experience performing end-user interviews
• Experience using Jira to create tickets and monitor development progress
• Experience working with teams in a agile environment
• Exposure to agile product development, scrum, and user experience (UX)
• Project Estimation – Within the required degree of confidence, provides estimates for business systems analysis tasks of various sizes
• Any exposure to Transportation systems is a big plus
