Best Friends Bethany is seeking an upbeat, reliable individual heading into our busy season. This position requires supervision and clean up after doggy playgroup, lots of on-your-feet exercise - walking pets, throwing balls, and scratching ears, as well as general husbandry and customer service.

. Candidates must be able to lift 40 lbs., be on your feet 4-5 hours at a time, and have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Reliable form of transportation and weekends are required.

This is a seasonal position.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintenance of pet suites, condos, general boarding areas, and kitchen
• Feeding and watering pet guests
• Monitoring and charting every pet guest
• Monitoring pet belonging
• Monitoring for any abnormalities
• Laundering duties
• Treating guests, co-workers and customers in a professional, courteous manner
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Assisting other associates and performing other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage time well
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds
• Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must possess a love of animals and patience when handling pets
• Displays a professional manner at all times
