We are now hiring for a full-time Application Analyst to join our Headquarters (HQ)Team!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide second level support to end-users with questions and issues. Support end users in resolving application problems on a timely basis.
  • Conduct analysis of business and user needs as it relates to the Application. Develop and maintain application technical documentation.
  • Work with vendors and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, identify current state and future state work and data flow.
  • Identify solutions, develop functional design, and implement solutions.
  • Analyze application enhancements and product changes for compatibility with other application components, interfaces and impact to current state business workflow. Work with stakeholders to adjust business workflows where necessary.
  • Collaborate and work with Application Development team, vendors and other subject matter experts to formulate functional requirements and specifications, and deliver enhancements.
  • Identify and propose creative solutions to business issues. Recommend application enhancements to increase software effectiveness. Evaluate the Applications functionality to advance the Agency’s goals and objectives.
  • In coordination with software vendors and internal resources, implement software upgrades. Review release notes, developing test plans and scripts, performing system testing and working with stakeholders for user acceptance testing.
  • Develop end-user training materials, coordinate and conduct end user training sessions.
  • Perform system and user acceptance testing. Develop test plans and use cases.
  • Serve as team lead on small to medium size cross-functional projects as it relates to the Application. Lead work groups and conduct meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field from an accredited college or university, required.
  • Two years of experience supporting applications, required.
  • EHR and Behavioral Health experience, preferred.
  • SQL and reporting experience, preferred.
  • Employment with MFS requires proof of vaccination or an approved Medical exemption, required.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to identify and document solutions to business problems with accuracy.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with end users, vendors and application developers.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • MFS staff are required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approved Medical exemption prior to starting employment. If an approved Medical is obtained, weekly testing is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

SALARY:

  • Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $65,000.
