Area Distribution Manager for SL with at least 3-5 years of work experience in a managerial capacity in the FMCG industry, handling General Trade.

Area Distribution Partner (ADP) Management
Key job responsibilities include:
Area Distribution Partner (ADP) Management
- Ensures that assigned ADP is aligned with the client’s business goal and objectives by conducting meetings and monthly business reviews for sustained profitable volume growth.
- Ensures ADP agreement/s compliance on Route Expansion and People Movements based on set timelines.
- Provides training of ADPs Sales Personnel through the Selling System Training Group (SSTG)
- Ensures adherence to SFA/Matrix requirements.
- Ensures 100% AR collection.
Sell In Volume (SIV) & Sales to Trade (STT) Target achievement
- Prepares sales forecast and sets SIV monthly target per SKU, per ADP based on Head Office (HO) mandated monthly SIV objectives.
- Cascade SIV monthly target per SKU to ADPs and get their commitments to hit the sales target objective through adherence to standard weekly SIV skewing.
- Monitors daily STT target achievement.
- Coordinates with the ADP on Purchase Order (PO) preparation, guided by the standard weekly SIV skewing.
- Coordinates with Logistics for delivery of booked orders on time and in full.
People Development
- Identifies and Ranks DS/MAS according to performance from top to bottom.
- Recommends Skills and Management training through SSTG.
- Reviews and Evaluates ADPs performance in terms of achievements (STT, Reach, Productive Calls, Full Line Selling, Opening of New Outlets) execution of AVIS during the Monthly Business Review (MBR) meeting.
- Provides guidance and motivation to team members through coaching and timely cascade management directions.
- Manages and ensures the adherence to the company’s Policies and Procedures by his direct reports and implements appropriate corrective action to erring direct reports.
Marketing Programs
- Coordinates as needed with the Trade Marketing Manager on the implementation of Local and National marketing support programs.
- Plans, creates, and approves Local Business Development Plans for the ADP, funded by the Business Development Fund.
- Support, monitor, and ensures the implementation of marketing support programs.
- Conducts mid and post-evaluation of the implemented marketing support programs.
- Discusses with ADP the result of mid and post-evaluation of the implemented marketing support programs for possible program re-alignment.
Job Requirements:
- Sales & Marketing, above average numerical and literacy competency, business acumen.
- Knows the courses of action for self and/or others to take to ensure that work is completed efficiently in view of the strategies & plans of the client.
- Collaborates within the organization, and externally by continuously identifying and acting on opportunities that will create success for the Client and customers.
- Initiates actions to achieve greater results for Availability & Visibility (AVIS); being proactive and taking the initiative to achieve positive results.
- Influencer, extrovert, enjoys interacting with people, goal-oriented, high achiever, team player, independent
- College Graduate with good communication & analytical skills
- Sales experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) business is preferred.
