Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

Compensation: $20.96 / hr + Benefits (Pay increases to $22.96 / hr upon the successful completion of the Armed Program and 60 days)

Job Description:

As an Armed Security Officer in Charge ( First Shift ), your professionalism, competence, and commitment to the job will help make a difference at our sites. Our commitment to our clients is that our Security Supervisor serves, protects, and secures our communities' people, homes, and businesses.

As an Armed Security Officer in Charge ( First Shift ), you will support site safety initiatives and ensure that safety equipment remains in excellent working order. As a result, you'll be able to help create safe and rewarding environments for all.

Anderson Security Agency will provide you with a firearm, uniforms, and all equipment to perform the functions of the Armed Security Officer in Charge ( First Shift ) role. No having to worry about purchasing ammunition to plink around. We have a state-of-the-art virtual simulator that creates real-world scenarios.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain a thorough understanding of post orders, standard operation procedures, and client directives.
• Supervise a security team of approximately 10 Security Officers.
• Conduct thorough patrols of the facilities and secure posts as instructed.
• Create weekly schedules in accordance with contracted security hours.
• Serve as a constant security presence and visible crime deterrent, maintaining a keen eye to anything out of the ordinary.
• Observe, report, and document any suspicious activities or criminal acts immediately.
• Conduct the assigned duties of the position with integrity while making ethical decisions.
• Document any client policy infractions at or near assigned post, threatening the property, client, or employees at the site.
• Proactively provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude and seek opportunities to serve.
• Respond to all emergencies and alarms promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Arizona Armed Security Guard Card (We can help with this!)
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent education.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified (We provide these for FREE!)
• Comfortable and proficient in operating a computer and Microsoft Office.
• Must be in a physical condition to perform regular or emergency duties requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion, such as:
  • Standing, sitting, or walking for an entire shift
  • Climbing stairs and ladders
  • Lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Running short distances
• Capable of exercising sound judgment, following instructions, and assimilating necessary specialized training.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• You must have a minimum of one year of either security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience.
