Job description

As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for serving each guest courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude. Duties of this position will include preparing the restaurant to open, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, accurately recording inventory, stocking supplies, taking orders, cooking and preparing foods, filling orders, suggestive selling, receiving money, accurately counting back change, being responsible for all cash issued and received at the register, and completing closing restaurant tasks.

A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, occasionally use motion which entails pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to complete or assist with cooking and meal preparation tasks. Must be willing to work catering jobs with and without assistance.

Must have flexibility in availability and be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including day and evening hours. General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations are preferred. Must have or be willing to obtain ServSafe or Food Protection Manager certification.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
