Supports faculty practice through expression of clinical expertise via consultation, education, research or practice within and outside of the Medical Center.
Leadership
Supports and facilitates the goals of Rush University, the college, and clinical setting.
Participates in departmental, and college strategic planning and decision-making, and evaluation.
Participates in and supports a faculty governance structure.
Supports and practices university/corporate team philosophy.
Supports a continuous quality improvement and cost-effective environment.
Supports cultural, racial, and ethnic diversity within the College of Nursing.
Participates in the College of Nursing Evaluation program.
Qualifications
Nurse faculty of a professional nursing program shall have:
A Doctoral Degree in Nursing
Maintains National Specialty Certification as appropriate
At least two years of experience in clinical nursing practice.
Current licensure in the State of Illinois. If working remotely, current RN licensure in their state of residence is required.
