Job Description:

Notes: Onsite

  • Looking for a highly organized and technical assistant Final Cut Pro X video editor who can also sometimes work in our studio facility doing ingest and assembly cuts of fresh content using Final Cut Pro.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot edit workstations operating in shared storage (XSAN) environment.
  • Should be able to support R3D and Blackmagic workflows, and should have a solid understanding of compression and video delivery requirements.
  • The editor should have a good knowledge of Final Cut Pro X library file structure, proxy workflow, and asset management.
  • Will also handle the organization of media from production, as well as assembly and rough cutting for technical and training videos.
  • Experience with localization and packaging of edits to outside vendors is highly desired.
