WestRock is seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Person for our Chicago location! In this role, the selected candidate will support the front office operations and be a backup forklift operator as needed. This role supports our 2nd shift Warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will perform administrative/clerical duties and warehouse duties such as load/unload trailers in a safe manner. Placing processed material into inventory storage, cut bills and complete all appropriate paperwork using computer software programs and sending/receiving daily emails. Maintain a safe & clean working environment. Perform other job duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Must have access to a personal car everyday to conduct trailer checks on premises. (Mileage will be expensed and reimbursed)
- Must have forklift experience
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office and data entry
* Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals
* Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
* Must be willing to work overtime as needed
* Must be able to maintain good attendance
