This role is based out of our Foster City, CA office.
The responsibilities for this role include:
- Implementing key HCP non-personal marketing strategies, campaigns, messaging, and tactics for the US HCV HCP Team.
- Branded and Unbranded NPP executions including: Websites & CRM, Content Syndications, Advertising/Search/etc.
- Managing multi-channel media strategy, planning and execution.
- Serving as a key project team member on cross-functional projects.
- Ensuring operational excellence and compliant activation of all key deliverables.
- Effectively managing agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and budgets.
- Develop and deliver presentations to a range of internal (executives, US leadership team, sales, cross functional colleagues, etc.) and external audiences.
- Working closely with promotional review committee to manage timelines and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies.
- Respecting Gilead core values of Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, Inclusion and Accountability.
- Closely managing and achieving budget targets.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience with BS/BA
- 8+ years experience with MS/MA or MBA
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-5 years in product marketing or advertising focused on HCP NPP marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields.
- Previous experience in marketing, market research and/or communications agency experience desired.
- Must be able to travel as dictated by business need, including overnights and attendance at some nighttime and weekend programs.
- Experience implementing non-personal marketing strategies, campaigns, messaging, and tactics.
- Strategic thinker with innovative mindset and ability to make critical decisions and recommendations among a range of strategic choices.
- Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Experience in working with and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively navigate a matrixed organization, drive decisions, and lead without direct authority, when needed.
The salary range for this position is: $185,895.00 - $240,570.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
