The Associate Producer role at BrandStar is a key position within the Programming department, responsible for identifying and securing Brand Participants to be featured on BrandStar Original television shows.
BrandStar is a fully integrated multi-media, digital video, and television production facility. We are experts in connecting PEOPLE with BRANDS to do LIFE better.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Identify national brands for BrandStar shows.
- Develop segment concepts, source funding for the budget of the project, research to gather information on stories and decision makers.
- Present partnership opportunity and funding requirements to corporate executives.
- Work closely with internal departments throughout the creative and production process.
- Maintain relationship with partners for future opportunities.
Experience and Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Creative abilities needed to develop stories for BrandStar show properties.
- Prior sales experience in television or radio a plus.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Must be coachable and flexible.
