Responsibilities:

The Assurance Learning Specialist serves in a versatile role to execute learning strategy and create learning that changes behavior & amplifies performance.

Baker Tilly is in a time of rapid growth; therefore, the Specialist should thrive in a growth mindset. They will be support a variety of projects across the Core, Onboarding, and Industry Assurance Learning Curriculums offered to the 1,700+, team of assurance professionals crossing industries, geographies, and backgrounds. The Assurance Learning Specialist is a self motivated, effective communicator who prioritizes collaboration.

This position offers fully remote or hybrid working arrangements with travel up to 20% annually to learning events.


Responsibilities

  • Execute Learning Strategy
  • Support development of learning materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, and consistent with instructional design principles.
  • Working with assurance subject matter resources (SMRs) to develop and/or curate program material/content to promote participant success and drive business impact
  • Developing schedules for learning programs and associated administrative tasks
  • Securing and preparing faculty for learning programs
  • Managing front and back end compliance with NASBA CPE Guidelines. Reporting the effectiveness of learning programs
  • Go live support of learning programs
  • Administrative duties as needed
  • Be a trusted advisor
    • Communicate with team members and stakeholders in a kind and professional manner.

Manage the Assurance Learning inbox questions.Analyze and evaluate training for assurance learning through:

  • Gathering data from formal and informal feedback on programs
  • Prepare draft reports and presentations for learning stakeholders

Project manage the maintenance and reporting of existing service line learning solutions:

  • Maintain data integrity
  • Maintain historical archives
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for curriculum data/information

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1 to 3 years of experience required
  • Proficiency in instructional design and curriculum development using adult learning principles
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Project management skills including building and monitoring work plans, able to prioritize, work toward multiple deadlines and knowing when to escalate
  • Use a consultative and collaborative approach
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable collaborating with individuals of various backgrounds and levels
