Center Point DAAC (Drug Abuse Alternatives Center) is currently seeking an Adolescent Treatment Program Coordinator. The ATP/Youth Coordinator is responsible for the effective delivery of evidence-based SUD services to students attending various school district sites throughout Sonoma County. AOD Counselors must be registered/certified
by a State of California Accredited Institution.
We are currently looking for a youth counselor to provide SUD services for youth at the Sonoma county school sites. Prior experience working with clients in substance abuse treatment programs is required.
The requirements for the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Substance Abuse Registration/Certification from a State of California Accredited Institution; RAS, CAS, CAADE, CADTP, CCAPP Required
- Collaborate with school district staff/personnel to provide services during school hours in a manner that is non-disruptive to school personnel and students, and by school policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff.
- Attends staff and county meetings, training, and clinical supervision as required
- Bilingual/bicultural preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in adolescent and family developmental theory
- Experience with evidence-based curriculum and various substance abuse treatment modalities is expected;
- Knowledge of community resources and services is preferred;
- Must be able to pass and maintain a criminal justice security clearance;
- 2 years of SUD program and case management experience.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
