Senior Audit Associates are required to execute all phases of the audit process, including financial analysis, planning, substantive testing, and issuance of opinion; present audit findings to management and prepare financial statements. As a senior audit associate you help with direction and reviewing the work of an Audit Associate. You can make decisions on most auditing and assurance matters. You will be part of a team and supervised in most cases by a manager, supervisor, and/ or partner on an engagement. Generally, this position requires two or more years of auditing experience.

Senior Audit Associates can perform most audit assignments with little supervision. They specifically can handle complex audit assignments simultaneously. They direct and review the work of an Audit Associate and are very capable of making decisions on most accounting, tax, and auditing matters. They are supervised in most cases by a manager, supervisor, and/ or partner on an engagement. Generally, this position requires two or more years of audit experience.

Senior Audit Associate Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (5th year equivalent preferred)
• 1-5+ years recent public accounting experience preferred
• CPA or current CPA candidate preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Must maintain strict client confidentiality
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Some Travel Required

Pay: $43,236.00 - $98,930.00 per year
