Auto Product Development Analyst (Open to Remote)
Job description
Develops new or enhanced insurance products, services and customer innovations for the auto line of business. Utilizes market research data to identify, analyze, and evaluate markets, products, or services that are potential areas for the company to enter. Develops and executes strategic plans for entry into new markets or the development and introduction of new or enhanced products and services. Prepares or modifies contract language, develops initial underwriting guidelines and standards, prepare and modify rating rules and oversees development of predictive analytics including pricing models and other predictive models. Analyzes data and information to recommend actions to improve profitability and growth. Will manage relationship of every aspect of assigned product through interaction with relevant departments. Compensation Minimum:$ 68,200 Compensation Maximum:$ 109,200

Primary Accountabilities
- Researches and develops concepts for complex new or enhanced products and/or services.
- Works with partners in product management, pricing/actuarial, underwriting, claims, etc. to ensure product compliance and financial viability.
- Prepares contract language and rating rules.
- Develops initial underwriting guidelines and standards and oversees development of new predictive analytics including pricing models and other predictive models.
- Serves as subject matter expert in development of contract language and/or underwriting guidelines. Ensures product compliance
- May serve as project lead for implementation of products and services.
This position may be considered for a full-time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on the selected candidate’s location. Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
- Demonstrated experience performing business analysis, writing contracts and/or developing underwriting guidelines depending upon specialization.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of customer, business industry, insurance, underwriting guidelines and risk concepts in area of expertise.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 10% of the time.
- We may hire at the Senior Analyst level based on skills and qualifications.
- This position is available for remote work based on location.
