Bartlett's Fine Cabinetry, a successful and highly respected Custom Cabinetry and Millwork Shop located in Buellton, California is currently hiring for a Drafter 1 Position. This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced CAD Drafter to join our growing company located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley.

Please Note: This is an in-house position and applicants looking for remote work should not apply.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, will consider if experienced in SketchUp or other CAD programs
• Cabinet / Construction Drawing / Design drafting experience is required
• Applicants with cabinet shop fabrication experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Detailed, observant, organized
• Able to work in dynamic, fast paced, open workspace environment
• Willing to engage, step up, and take initiative

Responsibilities:

• Full Time position with overtime required as needed to meet client needs during busy times of the year
• Creation of design development, cabinetry documents and drawings
• Conduct drawing reviews as appropriate for completeness and accuracy
• Organize and maintain project drawings, files, and related information
• Ability to efficiently manage assignments and tasks in timely manner

Compensation:

• 6-month probationary period
• Competitive pay offered based on abilities, including paid time off and holiday pay after one year of employment.
• Pay structure based on performance, not days worked

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
