Townsend Honda is a 49 year old automotive dealership in Tuscaloosa. We have an immediate opening in our business office for an Accounting Clerk. The responsibilities of the position include the following:
- Posting of all sold car deals to accounting daily
- Breaking down the car deals and ensure that they are sent to the correct lender daily
- Paying off all traded in vehicles daily whether by check or online
- Remit payments for Service Contracts, GAP, Maintenance and other products monthly
- Cleaning of accounting schedules to include inventory and remittance schedules
- Assisting the other office employees as needed to include answering the phone and handling cashier duties
The position requires excellent time management and organizational skills. It is task oriented. Prior experience in book keeping, automotive office experience is a plus!
