Job Summary:
Serves as Aviation Specialist in support of USMC Command customer in Quantico, VA. Performa a wide range of administrative, technical, and quality management in support of a robust aviation program. Provides training, acquisition, design and planning, and execution support to various stakeholders within the USMC aviation standards and programs. Candidate will monitor qualifications, skills and training and ensure compliance with FAA and DoD requirements and regulations.

Other Duties:
- Serves as the primary point of contact in aviation support management to contract office and program manager
- Performs monthly tracking and reports compliance reviews
- Prepares documentation and databases to track quality and performance management
- Plans, designs, and executes operations and plans to assist in planning, exercises, and integration of air operations
- Overseas training development and upgrade status of various training and certification platforms
- Serves as contract liaison to USMC aviation, avionics, and aircraft maintenance personnel
Minimum Qualifications:
- Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
- Four (4) years of experience as an aircraft maintainer, avionics specialist, aviator, or fleet support representative
- Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or seven (7) years of experience in a related field
- Prior experience in a SAP or SCI environment highly desirable
- Strong recordkeeping in accordance with government standards and corporate policies
- Solid skills with Microsoft 365: Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Previous USMC or sister service Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics or Aviator experience highly desirable
- Experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction with broad program objectives related aviation management
- Must be able to work independently and perform under minimal supervision
