Position Summary
Provides administrative assistance with the deposit operations for the bank. It is critical that tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with regulatory requirements and department procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Setting up control records, annual updates, testing, purge/retention time frames, developing new deposit products, clean-up projects on software:
- Horizon (core)- Deposit Related Applications, Relationship Management, Deposit Origination (DO), Teller Capture, Security and On-Line Account Opening.
- CSI (deposit compliance documentation)
- Smart Sign (collecting signatures electronically)
- FCM- Document Imaging (customer/deposit documentation)
- Image Centre (statements; item images)
- Cash Manager (movement of IntraFi Network (Promontory) CDARS/ICS accounts and Reiche & Tang DDM transactions)
- RemitPlus/Web (Lock Box payment processing)
- Velocity ILS (Overdraft Limit Program)
- Sound knowledge of products, services, policies, and regulations impacting unit of responsibility.
- Sound knowledge of reporting software
- H360 Reporting (creating reports from Horizon)
- Assisting with the creation and updating of procedures while routinely looking for ways to improve the process.
- Working with core (FISC) in the following areas:
- Bookkeeping (Cash Letters, RDFI ACH files, and etc)
- Deposit Account Mailings (Statements, and etc)
- Teller Capture Processing
- Yearend Tax Reporting
- Software upgrades
- Working with other departments in the following areas:
- System changes/updates
- Deposit Training
- Compliance for Deposit Operation
- Working on various types of projects, when needed.
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory responsibilities.
- Adheres to the BSA Policy and all other Bank Policies.
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- High School diploma required.
- Good customer service and communication skills (written/verbal).
- Must be able to handle fast paced environment with good judgment and exercise discretion.
- At least 5 years prior experience in deposit operations, with products and software knowledge required.
- Proficient with computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with Adobe Acrobat.
