Bakery Clerk

Zuppardo’s Family Market, family owned and operated, has been a staple in the community for over 90 years, providing delicious food, great value and exceptional service. We are looking for professional, service orientated Bakery clerks to help us carry on that tradition

Bakery team members are friendly, personalble, realiable , energetic, and team driven individuals who are ready to work in a fast paced enviroment. They must be detail oriented and able to multitask and complete baking, packaging and merchandising asssignments, while providing excellent customer service.

Bakery Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
• Arrives to workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings
• Attention to detail, strong work ethic and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and complies with all health and safety procedures
• Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation
• Ability to use and safely clean work equipment
• Proficiency in weighing, pricing, packaging, and processing baked goods
• Ability to follow recipes and proper baking procedures including proper time and temperature in instructions
• Strong attention to detail, rotates merchandise, ability to create visually appealing displays of baked goods
• Performs other duties as assigned by store and team leadership

Essential Functions

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to walk or stand for up to eight hours or longer
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, reach, or climb as needed
• Ability to perform repetitive movement as needed
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
