Job description

We are seeking a courteous, out-going Banquet Captain for greeting, assisting, and serving guests at special functions and events. The banquet Captain will help assist with preparation, service, and clean-up of banquet functions along with responding to questions, complaints, and requests made by our guests.

To be a successful banquet captain, you should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, a team player that can remain upbeat and professional in times that can be stressful.
Banquet Captain Overview:

• Greet guests as they enter our venue.
• Circulate the room with trays of appetizers, meals and beverages.
• Assist with event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, table cloths, place settings, and buffets.
• Support team members to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Experience as a server is preferred.
• Meet age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages in Montana.
• Be courteous and attentive to guests.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, staying on your feet, carrying serving trays, lift and carry equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions that may be given by the Executive Chef, F&B Managers, or Hotel Executive Management Team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $30.00 per hour
