Regional West is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska that is seeking a Bariatric Coordinator.
As the RWMC Bariatric Coordinator, you will:
- Be responsible and accountable for overseeing the individualized plan of care for Bariatric patients
- Develop multidisciplinary critical pathways, standing orders, and patient education materials for all types of bariatric patients, in collaboration with hospital staff and physicians
- Perform initial and systematic ongoing assessments and data collection
- Prioritize, plan, and implement interventions to assigned patients in collaboration with patient, family, and care team based on the patient’s immediate and anticipated needs
- Develop a comprehensive program of bariatric patient care that precedes admission and extends to the conclusion of patient care
You may be a good fit for the Bariatric Coordinator if you have:
- An Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Compact or State of Nebraska Registered Nurse Licensure
- Three to five years of acute clinical experience
