Barista
Summary
Country Grounds Coffee Company is Kamuela’s very first, exclusive drive-thru coffee shop. You can be part of a fun and exciting company that serves the community. The Barista’s primary objective is to bring each guest such a wonderful experience they will want to return for more and bring their friends. Barista’s must be detail oriented, have a passion for delivering excellent service and enjoy working as a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience:
- No previous barista experience required, training provided, and must be eager and willing to learn the craft
- Retail, hospitality, food and beverage, and/or customer service is a plus
- Hourly, part time, seasonal, and/or year round
- Shifts range from 4:30am to 5:30pm including weekends, and holidays as market conditions may require, such as evenings.
Qualifications
- Food Handler’s card by the time work begins
- Detailed oriented, highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with our POS system, computer, and online applications
- Complete all required trainings, meetings, and orientations
- Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner at all times
- Self-motivated, open-minded, positive outlook
- Hospitality driven, polite, friendly, customer oriented, problem solver
- Stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
- Lift items overhead weighing up to 35 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 65 lbs. frequently

Employment with the Company is entered into voluntarily, and your employment is “at will,” which means you are free to resign at will at any time, with or without cause. Similarly, “at will” means that the Company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without notice or cause, in accordance with applicable law.
