The Fresh Monkee LLC in Berlin, CT is looking for baristas to join our team. We are located at 196 Berlin Turnpike. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.

The Fresh Monkee creates made-to-order truly healthy protein shakes. We make our drinks with high quality protein, whole fruits or vegetables, natural nut butters and other real ingredients. Our customers come to us for meal replacements, workout recovery, or just a healthy snack! They look to us for guidance in their nutrition journeys and we have many regulars who build our shakes part into their daily or weekly routine.

THIS IS NOT A SEASONAL POSITION. Must be available 2pm - 7pm and one weekend day / week.

Responsibilities

*Prepare cold (and hot) drinks in accordance with customer needs *Memorize about 30 recipes and be able to prepare multiple shakes at once *Interact with customers regularly and professionally, answer questions about the nutritional benefits of our shakes and make recommendations based on customers' goals *Maintain a clean and tidy work area and front of shop *Follow health and safety guidelines *Have the ability to work quickly, multi task with common sense and stay calm under pressure *Must be dependable and flexible with schedule

Qualifications

*Proven working experience in restaurant industry *High integrity with a great attendance record *Strong attention to detail *Ability to listen and communicate effectively
