The Mental Health Technician I assumes direct care responsibilities for an assigned group of patients and provides care to these patient via therapeutic use of self, the environment and other health care team members. Ages served are adult, 18 and older.QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. C.N.A. or similar training preferred.
3. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
4. Must have good communication and observational skills.
5. Must have good problem solving skills.
6. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
7. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
8. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
