Summary
The Benefit Enrollment Specialist will report to the Financial Counselor Supervisor. The specialist will conduct comprehensive patient interviews to assess eligibility for third-party payer benefits including but not limited to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Health Insurance Continuation Program (HICP). This specialist will provide a thorough overview of the health coverage options through the marketplace and other resources available, for our population. They will assist clients with completing eligibility and enrollment forms for these programs. They will also assess clients for their eligibility in obtaining copays and premium assistance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of college level course work or experience in lieu of degree.
- One or more years of Health Insurance Navigator with knowledge of Patient Assistance Programs.
