Billing Specialist

We are currently seeking a Billing Specialist (Full Time) at our North Kingstown, Rhode Island location. We also have availability at our Lincoln, Rhode Island location.

As part of the Billing Team, you would help with anything related to patient or insurance billing. This might include submitting claims, entering payments, updating patient accounts, charging patient credit cards, and answering billing questions. You would follow up with insurance companies about claims that were denied and file appeals when necessary. You would communicate with patients to assist them in understanding their benefits, request payment of their balance, and clarify for them what is needed to resolve insurance issues.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8 hour/day shift)

This position is based in North Kingstown office, with the possibility of working at home one or two days per week.

Compensation:

• $38,000 annually
• Salary model

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (required)
• Experience with medical billing (required)
• Experience with mental health billing or coding (preferred)
